For humanitarians
Preserving balance before, during and after missions
Humanitarian staff, caregivers in crisis zones, field coordinators — we give them concrete tools to regulate their nervous system and maintain clarity and effectiveness.
We support humanitarians, institutions and communities with fast, intercultural and neuroscience-based techniques — helping the nervous system regain balance, strength and confidence.
About the association
Hypnose Humanitaire is a collective of hypnotherapists, former humanitarians and professionals from public health, psychology, anthropology and the social sciences.
We develop and share neuroscience-inspired hypno-neuro-imaginative techniques to support mental health, resilience and psychosocial well-being in humanitarian and community contexts.
Our mission
Our mission is to share accessible, intercultural hypno-neuro-imaginative techniques that help the nervous system regain balance, strength and confidence — before, during and after crises.
For humanitarians
Humanitarian staff, caregivers in crisis zones, field coordinators — we give them concrete tools to regulate their nervous system and maintain clarity and effectiveness.
For communities
Communities affected by war, exile or crisis — we share lasting resilience tools, transmissible person-to-person at the heart of communities.
Our approach
We believe in the brain's natural power to self-regulate and rebuild. Our techniques activate these inner resources to produce concrete, measurable effects.
Calm a nervous system in hypervigilance — disrupted sleep, intrusive thoughts, shallow breathing — and regain stability and clarity.
Turn fatigue, doubt and tension into constructive energy and inner stability, even in high-pressure environments.
Support recovery, confidence and quality of life — peer-transmissible, with no special equipment, in any cultural context.
Our principles
Ongoing projects
In South Kivu, we train local actors (Train-the-Trainer) in simple, accessible, neuroscience-based stress-regulation tools. Passed on person-to-person, these tools help lasting resilience emerge at the heart of communities.
We designed a remote psychosocial support solution adapted to crisis contexts, enabling health professionals to regulate their stress, support their patients and strengthen mutual-aid dynamics — even in situations of intense panic.
We are developing an applied-research project to better understand and document the impact of hypno-neuro-imaginative techniques in humanitarian and social contexts. The goal: useful knowledge, directly grounded in the field.
Completed projects
Online training of 136 staff members in fast stress-management techniques, directly applicable to maintain clarity and effectiveness in crisis contexts.
Work with migrants and their support workers to strengthen emotional regulation, quality of support and integration in Switzerland.
Targeted support for professionals exposed to critical situations, with fast, measurable effects on stress and emotional regulation.
What our participants say
It's lighter now. I didn't even know how much I was carrying.
For the first time, I saw them as capable, not dependent. And they saw themselves that way too.
I felt a deep inner calm, a sense of profound release and re-centering.
They trust us
Our vision
We aspire to a world where every humanitarian, every refugee, every person affected by war or exile has concrete mental-health tools to preserve their balance, strengthen their resilience and regain confidence. Through our projects, training and collaborations, we work to make these tools transmissible, adaptable and integrable across every context.
